Searching multiple search engines can be a big drag. The raw work of going to another search engine and entering your list of search terms, reading and sorting through the same core set of links is drudgery.

I use a searching automation tool called Webseeker.
Probably the best feature of Webseeker is that it lets you do categorized searching of multiple search engines with a single entry of keywords. Duplicate and dead links are then removed. They even have a neat add-on service that allows you to search through auctions ... a great place to find that which is hard to find. Besides searching, Webseeker lets you save searches allowing you to run them again later, and perform longer term search campaigns.
