Leather Equipment Power Drive Belts

The Edison Lab National Historical Museum in West Orange NJ has an interesting problem.

Thomas Edisons original fabricating machines are all belt driven. The Rangers at the facility had to search for this nearly extinct, hard to find item and eventually found an Amish manufacturer.

These are the wide leather belts that are used between a source of motion and the machine that needs power ... you know, pre electricity stuff.

John Knox is a man who will make you custom drive belts. http://www.leatherdrivebelts.com/
